Everyone at our hospital plays a role in research. Here’s how

Researchers at The Ottawa Hospital

Research at The Ottawa Hospital is banishing aggressive blood cancers, providing new hope for people with neuromuscular diseases and helping older people recover more quickly from surgery.

November 10-14 is Research Week, a time for us to celebrate the incredible research breakthroughs that have happened at The Ottawa Hospital — and the incredible people behind them. From nurses and admitting clerks to scientists, trainees and patients, everyone at our hospital plays a role in advancing care through research.

How better to sum up why our research matters than with the voices of the people actually doing the work? Check out the video below to see how The Ottawa Hospital integrates research into every aspect of care — and how it is having a real-world impact.

To our researchers and everyone who contributes to research at our hospital and research institute, this week is for you.
