December 11, 2014 — This season, our volunteers are bringing a bit of Christmas cheer to our patients who can’t make it home for the holidays.
A visit from Santa and his friends at the General Campus
On December 11th, the Friends of The Ottawa Hospital General Campus, have arranged their annual tour of inpatient units with Santa. Starting at 6 p.m., a group of volunteers will move from room to room, singing Christmas carols and handing out gifts to each patient.
Come Caroling at the Civic Campus on Christmas Day
On December 25th, volunteers at The Ottawa Hospital will be visiting patients at the Civic Campus, singing carols and spreading Christmas cheer from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
If members of the community would like to become volunteers at The Ottawa Hospital and make a difference over the holidays, this is the perfect opportunity. We have reserved 10 spaces for new volunteers who would like to start off their experience at The Ottawa Hospital by singing Christmas carols.
