August 16, 2013 – The City of Ottawa will be replacing the elevators on the Transitway at the Riverside Campus stop, one direction at a time.
Work will start on the elevator on the northbound side of the Transitway (towards downtown) the week of August 12 and is scheduled to be complete by mid-September. Once that elevator is functional, they will begin work on the southbound-side elevator (towards Billings Bridge), which is scheduled to be complete by mid-October.
During this time, if you require the elevator, it is recommended that you travel one stop beyond the hospital, take the elevators up to the pedestrian walkway and cross over, then come back one stop to the hospital. This could add 15 to 30 minutes to someone’s journey so please plan ahead for your shift/appointment.
