Over the course of the last five years, The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) has been engaged in civil proceedings arising out of matters identified in its procurement processes. While some aspects of these proceedings were resolved last year, the proceedings have now entirely concluded. All settlements are confidential.

TOH takes its commitment to its patients, staff, funders and the community extremely seriously and is committed to the stewardship of our health care dollars, both from funders and donors. As a public institution, our financial practices are held to the highest standard of accountability. TOH has completed a series of detailed internal reviews and implemented additional stringent controls and monitoring processes. TOH is committed to remaining diligent in the stewardship of health care funding to ensure our community continues to receive world-class care.
