February 13, 2014 — The Ottawa Hospital is pleased to announce Cameron Love as its Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all clinical programs, planning and support services. Cameron received his Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa and worked at the Ministry of Health before joining The Ottawa Hospital in 1998.

Cameron served as the interim CEO of the Champlain Community Care Access Center from December 2009 to September 2010. Today he leads and participates in a number of regional initiatives associated with the planning of clinical and support services within the Champlain region. He is a member of the Canadian College of Health Services Executives and is involved in many regional and provincial initiatives, committees and task forces.

This appointment is part of a management team reorganization that will establish the structure needed to implement TOH’s corporate strategies and direction. The cost neutral changes will position the hospital to deliver its programs and services while continuously striving for better quality care at lower cost.
