In all areas volunteers support staff by providing compassionate services to patients, families and visitors to help make their experience at The Ottawa Hospital as positive as possible.

Description	Provide assistance and companionship to patients and families are waiting for critical care. Offer comfort: refreshments, warm blankets, hospital information as required.	Provide assistance and companionship to patients and families at meals, for bedside exercises or for friendly visiting. Offer comfort: refreshments, warm blankets, hospital information as required.	Help patients and visitors get to appointments by providing directions, maps and accompaniment as required.	Help Raise money for the Hospital by serving families, visitors and patients.	Join the Volunteer Resources team to help us greet and support volunteers, assist with projects and reports (weekdays only)
