Nephrologist
Associate Professor

Robert Bell received his BMSc and MD from the University of Alberta. He then finished pre-licensure residency at the University of Alberta, followed by Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at the University of Ottawa.

He joined the Division of Nephrology in 1988 and has since worked in many clinical and administrative areas of Nephrology.

His focus is on education of all levels of medical trainees for which he has received many teaching rewards.

He is currently the Curriculum Director and the Director of the Distinguished Teacher Program of the Undergraduate Medical Education Program at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa.
