What service does Nursing provide?

Nursing in DMI

• Nursing provides care to patients before, during,​ and after many tests/procedures within​ the medical imaging department.
• Prior to your test/procedure, if required, you will be interviewed about your health by one of the nurses. ​

Some examples of the tests/procedures that nurses are involved in: ​

• Biopsy​
• Interventional Angiography​
• CT​

During these tests/procedures, nurses are often present to monitor and provide care for patients.​

After the test/procedure is complete, if required, nurses monitor and provide care for patients in a recovery area until they are safe to return home.
