Making an Appointment

• Referring physicians typically make the initial request for a diagnostic imaging procedure by submitting a requisition for a diagnostic procedure.

• Upon receipt of a requisition, our booking offices will have the request reviewed to determine appropriateness and priority.

• Once requests have been assessed, our booking offices will contact patients to schedule their appointments.

• Verbal instructions will be provided upon the scheduling of the appointment and confirm any preparation requirements (if necessary).

• In cases where the appointment is booked 18 days or greater, written notices will be sent out. Twenty-four and forty-eight hour reminders prior to scheduled appointments are provided.
