TOH nurses support The Well/La Source

Every Nursing Week, The Ottawa Hospital nurses, with recommendation from the Social Work Department, support a different community organization that serves our patient population and those in need. This year, the Nursing Week Work Group was pleased to recognize and support The Well / La Source.

Each day they serve from 150 to 170 hot nutritious lunches to Ottawa area women and children in need, and that number has been steadily increasing every year. The sense of community created around these lunchtime meals helps to build long-lasting trust relationships and provides these women access to The Well’s supportive recreation programs and services.

Though their needs are many, donations for their food program are greatly appreciated. Below is a list of items The Well needs.
