for The Ottawa Hospital through Run for a Reason.
Every year, tens of thousands of people participate in Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend. Of those, thousands fundraise for The Ottawa Hospital through Run for a Reason.
Chances are, you, or someone you know, has been impacted by The Ottawa Hospital in the last year. So when you toe the line on May 25 and 26, give extra meaning to your run by lacing up in support of the Hospital. Thousands of people have, raising more than $9 million since 1998 for areas including Parkinson’s research, clinical trials, cancer care and the neonatal intensive care unit. You choose an area of the Hospital that means the most to you, fundraise, and earn great prizes at the same time.
If you had your heart on running the sold-out half-marathon, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation has a limited number of charitable half-marathon entries available. All you have to do is donate $250 in support of The Ottawa Hospital. In return, you will be registered for the half-marathon, and as a supporter of the Hospital, you will receive a tax receipt in the amount of $175.
