Over the past 15 years The Ottawa Hospital has embarked on a journey of redesign and reorganization. During this journey, four distinct models have emerged.
Nursing
With a staff of more than 4,500 nurses, we have a well-qualified and committed team that is actively involved in the delivery of compassionate care, as well as the planning of many of the hospital’s programs.
Physicians
The Ottawa Hospital has a team of more than 1,200 physicians who are dedicated to providing the highest quality research, teaching and patient care in both official languages.
Other Health Professionals
The Ottawa Hospital employs roughly 15,000 staff, physicians, and volunteers. In addition to physicians and nurses, the Hospital employs a variety of other compassionate health professionals who work together to provide you and your family with the very best care.
