Staff from The Ottawa Hospital will participate in a Code Orange training exercise in the Civic Campus Emergency Department on the morning of Friday, Nov. 16 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The Civic Campus Emergency Department will be open during this exercise. Patient care will not be affected.
The hospital would call a Code Orange in the event of a disaster in the community. Exercises like this help the hospital regularly review and improve its Code Orange plan, so that we are always ready to support our community.
