Neurosciences Clinic

Overview

The Neurosciences Clinic provides outpatient consultation and care to neurosurgical and neurological patients. Patients may be seen as new referrals or for follow-up care.

The Clinic is staffed by neurologists, neurosurgeons, registered nurses, registered practical nurses and clerical personnel. The nursing staff performs suture removals, wound care, and provides pre and post operative counselling on medications, activity, and wound care. They also offer emotional support and teaching to patients.

Many specialty treatments and services are provided in the Neurosciences Clinic, including those focused on:

• Stroke prevention
• Epilepsy
• Movement disorders(including Parkinson’s)
• Pituitary disorders
• CyberKnife treatment
• Migraines
• MS
• Neurovascular health
