The Dizziness Clinic provides care to patients with undiagnosed or severe chronic dizziness that have been seen by a neurologist or otolaryngologist, and seek a second opinion. Our aim is to diagnose and help patients find solutions to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life. These may involve recommendations for medication, rehabilitation, and on-going physiotherapy and psychiatric care.
The Dizziness Clinic currently sees patients with severe chronic dizziness. Diagnoses that are common include:
- uncompensated vestibular neuritis
- severe Meniere’s disease
- recurrent Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
- vestibular migraine
- central nervous system causes of dizziness
- post-concussion or minor traumatic brain injury
- persistent postural perceptual dizziness (PPPD)
