Fraud Awareness and Prevention
Hospitals are built on the trust earned from our communities. We have an obligation to conduct ourselves in a way that promotes public trust. We expect our staff, and those we do business with, to carry out their duties in an honest and responsible manner.
You can help play a role in fraud prevention and reporting at The Ottawa Hospital. If you know or have reason to believe that a fraud has happened at The Ottawa Hospital, please email Whistleblower@toh.ca.
Reports of fraud are taken very seriously and addressed quickly. When fraud is reported, The Ottawa Hospital will conduct a thorough investigation to determine whether or not fraud has occurred.
The Ottawa Hospital has zero tolerance toward fraud. Anyone who has committed fraud will face severe consequences.
Please read The Ottawa Hospital’s Fraud Awareness and Prevention policy for more information.
