October 29, 2012 – Today, Ottawa Police Chief Charles Bordeleau presented Queen’s Jubilee Medals to the doctor and three nurses who attended to and tried to save the life of Cst. Eric Czapnik in the early morning hours of December 29, 2009 at The Ottawa Hospital.

Receiving the medals from the Ottawa Police Association were Dr. Guy Hébert and nurses Frank Byrnes, Tamara Clavet and Coralie MacKay.
