The Ottawa Hospital is aware of fraudulent job postings and fraudulent employment letters circulating in the community, and that individuals are falsely claiming that they represent The Ottawa Hospital via these recruitment scams. These fraudulent recruitment tactics can look formal and are authored by individuals falsely claiming they work for TOH. These efforts are not legitimate and may be an attempt to unlawfully access your personal or financial information..

Signs of fraudulent job postings and employment offers include:

• Job postings that do not appear on our official The Ottawa Hospital Careers Page and do not include The Ottawa Hospital’s official logo or contact information.
• Communication being sent via email accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook
• Being offered a position for which you did not apply and interview for.
• Requesting candidates to for pay a fee upfront, or to provide their credit card or financial information as part of the application process.
