Donation Rates

The shortage of organs and tissues remains an ongoing concern for Canadians in need of organ and tissue transplants. National donation rates lag behind countries, which a decade ago had similar rates to Canada. Canada now has the dubious honour of having one of the lowest donation rates among developed countries.
