Psychosocial-oncology Program Physiotherapy

The Psychosocial Oncology Program was established to provide support and rehabilitation most beneficial to those coping with cancer and the many challenges associated with their diagnosis. It is a whole person approach to care and provides emotional, psychological, social, practical and rehabilitation support. Anyone with a diagnosis of cancer can benefit from the services provided by this program; they are an integral part of cancer care. Services are provided at both The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre – General Campus and the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre, located at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital.  A physiotherapist is part of the Psychosocial-Oncology Program Team at both sites.  Currently, Physiotherapy is offered 4 days a week at the General Campus and 1 day a week at the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre. 

A physician referral form is required and may be faxed or mailed to either:
