Stephanie Patterson

Stephanie Patterson is a recently retired Chief Superintendent with more than three decades of distinguished public service and executive leadership with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

She provided operational, strategic, and crisis-management expertise, having led complex policing initiatives, emergency response planning, and member wellbeing strategies. Throughout her career, she built strong partnerships with professional associations, government stakeholders, social agencies, Indigenous leaders, justice partners, and healthcare organizations.

Stephanie remains passionate about public safety and community wellbeing and continues to advocate for vulnerable citizens.

The Governor General of Canada appointed Stephanie as a Member of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces in 2022 for her dedication to public service.

Appointed in 2026 until 2027.
