Greg has practiced law for more than 50 years initially in the international development sector in Ghana under the auspices of CUSO and in Ottawa practicing regulatory/administrative law before government departments and agencies.  He has also appeared before the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada in judicial proceedings to review department and agency decisions.

Throughout his legal career, Greg has been actively involved in a volunteer capacity in organizations relating to health, education, international development and the arts.  He was most recently a Board Member of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Past Chair and member of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation Board.

Greg has been motivated to volunteer in the health sector because he considers The Ottawa Hospital is the central and most important institution in our community stating: “The world-class research being done at The Ottawa Hospital is a vital enhancement to patient care and treatment in Ottawa and around the world.  We need to do all we can to support and recognize the dedication and accomplishments of our remarkable researchers and practitioners.”
