Anne Ferguson
Anne is the former CEO of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS), a national medical professional association for Canadian cardiovascular specialists. During her tenure with the organization, she worked closely with the medical community to advance cardiovascular care through advocacy, education and guideline development. In addition, she grew the profile the Canadian Journal of Cardiology, an indexed journal for cardiovascular research in Canada.
Prior to joining the CCS, Anne worked with several pharmaceutical and medical device companies in marketing and sales. Most recently, she has been a member of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute Board, serving as the Chair of the Governance Committee. She has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
Appointed in 2026 to 2027.
