Parkinson's Disease Clinic

Overview

The Parkinsons Disease Clinic is dedicated to the medical management and education of patients with Parkinson's disease and other parkinsonisms.

The clinic conducts numerous clinical trials exploring novel treatment options for patients in the very early stages of the disease as well as for those with more advanced disease.

The clinic is well integrated with the Parkinson Society of Ottawa. It provides emotional support, counselling and referral to other health and social service agencies within the community that may be helpful to the patient and their family.

The staff physician is Dr. D. A. Grimes, MD, FRCP(C)- Director. Diane Côté RN and Jennifer Vendette RN are the nurses for this clinic.
