Hematology and Thrombosis Clinic

Overview

The Hematology and Thrombosis Clinic serves patients with blood disorders that may include leukemias, anemias, thrombocytopenia and leukocytopenia.

The Thrombosis Unit focuses on pulmonary embolism (clot in the lung) and deep vein thrombosis (clot in the leg). The unit offers a home anti-coagulant or blood thinner administration program that has greatly decreased patient admission to hospital.
