Clinical Investigation Unit
The Clinical Investigation Unit is a 12-bed unit at the General Campus that performs clinical pharmacokinetic research, ranging from Phase I to Phase IV studies in healthy volunteers and patients, and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic research, with an emphasis on pharmacotherapy for HIV-infection. The Coordinator of the Unit, Dr. Charles laPorte, has a joint appointment to the Pharmacy Department and the Division of Infectious Diseases and can be contacted at 613-737-8304.
