Movement Disorders Clinic

Overview

The Movement Disorders Clinic at The Ottawa Hospital provides medical care and education for patients with conditions such as dystonia, myoclonus, chorea and tics.

The team has extensive experience using botulinum toxin injections to treat focal dystonia and hemifacial spasm.

In addition to treatment, the clinic offers emotional support, counselling and referrals to community health and social services that may be helpful to patients and their families.

All patients must be referred by a physician.
