Infectious Diseases Clinic

Overview

The Infectious Disease Clinic provides outpatient care for patients with a wide range of infections.

Common conditions include post-operative wound infections, endocarditis (inflammation around the heart), bacteremia (bloodstream infections), tropical diseases, sexually transmitted infections and tuberculosis. Each patient is thoroughly assessed using diagnostic tools such as blood tests, x-rays and fluid analysis. Treatment plans are guided by infectious disease specialists and tailored to each patient.

A healthcare worker wearing a face shield, mask, gloves, and protective gown examines a chest X-ray image, holding it up to the light in a medical setting.

Referrals

All patients must be referred by a physician.
