What to Expect at Appointments
Please note that there have been changes to how appointments are offered at the clinic due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, the majority of appointments are offered virtually (telephone or Zoom). At the time of booking, a staff member will confirm with you how your appointment will be offered. Please contact the clinic if you have any questions.
Group Classes
Open Houses: Video session.
Pre-Surgery Class #1: 2-hour virtual group session with behaviourist and registered dietitian
Pre-Surgery Class #2: 2-hour virtual group session with a registered dietitian and registered nurse
Post-Surgery Class: 1.5 hour virtual group session with registered dietitian and behaviourist
Nurse Practitioner appointments
Initial Assessments: 75 minute individual appointment, please bring a updated list of medications
Follow-Up Assessments: 30 minute individual appointments, please bring a updated list of medications
Registered Dietitian appointments
Initial Assessments: 75 minute individual appointment, please bring your vitamin and mineral supplements, 2 days of food records and Your Guide to Bariatric Surgery
Follow-Up Assessments: 60 minute individual appointment, please bring your vitamin and mineral supplements, 2 days of food records and Your Guide to Bariatric Surgery
Behaviourist and Social Work appointments
Initial Assessments: 75 minute individual appointment
Follow-Up Assessments: 60 minute individual appointment
Psychologist Appointment
Initial Assessments: 120 minute individual appointment
Follow-Up Assessments: 60 minute individual appointment
