ERV est l\u2019abr\u00e9viation d\u2019ent\u00e9rocoque r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la vancomycine. La vancomycine est un antibiotique utilis\u00e9 pour traiter certaines infections. L\u2019ent\u00e9rocoque est une bact\u00e9rie commune qui se trouve normalement dans la partie inf\u00e9rieure de l\u2019intestin. Certaines personnes peuvent d\u00e9velopper une infection caus\u00e9e par cette bact\u00e9rie et avoir besoin de traitements. Seuls quelques antibiotiques, dont la vancomycine, permettent de traiter efficacement les infections aux ent\u00e9rocoques. Si l\u2019ent\u00e9rocoque d\u00e9veloppe une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la vancomycine (ent\u00e9rocoque r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la vancomycine), cet antibiotique ne peut plus d\u00e9truire la bact\u00e9rie. Cependant, il existe d\u2019autres antibiotiques capables de traiter les infections \u00e0 l\u2019ERV.<\/p>\n
