This is in line with guidance from the Ontario Ministry of Health and action being taken at hospitals across the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visits from essential caregivers and other visitors for compassionate reasons, who have been welcomed in hospital throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, will continue to be arranged by the patient\u2019s care team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone planning to visit any of the following hospitals in the Ottawa area should visit that hospital\u2019s website to review the current visitor policy before coming to hospital. Each hospital\u2019s visitor policy is tailored to the needs of that facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bruyere.org\/en\/covid19-visitors\">Bruy\u00e8re<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/hopitalmontfort.com\/en\/montfort-and-covid-19#visit\">Montfort<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottawahospital.on.ca\/en\/patients-visitors\/visiting-the-hospital\/\">The Ottawa Hospital<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theroyal.ca\/information-clients-and-families\">The Royal<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottawaheart.ca\/news\/ottawa-area-hospitals-gradually-welcoming-more-visitors\">The University of Ottawa Heart Institute<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qch.on.ca\/COVIDVisitors\">Queensway Carleton Hospital<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Hospitals in the area are now restricting access to their buildings to a small number of entrances at each site. Please follow signage posted onsite and be prepared to be screened on arrival for symptoms, travel history and contact history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To protect vulnerable patients, please:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wear a face mask. If you do not have one, one will be provided.
