The Ottawa Hospital is pleased to announce\nthe appointment of Cameron Love as the hospital\u2019s new President and CEO.\nFollowing an international search, the selection committee made the unanimous\nrecommendation to the Board of Governors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Ottawa Hospital is hiring someone who\nhas already dedicated much of his life and career to making The Ottawa Hospital\none of the premier academic hospitals in the country,\u201d said Katherine Cotton,\nChair of the Board of Governors. \u201cCameron will build on the legacy our outgoing\nCEO, Dr. Jack Kitts, has left us. He will continue to lead The Ottawa Hospital\nin achieving its vision to provide each patient with the world-class care,\nexceptional service and compassion that we would want for a loved one.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cameron Love has most recently served The\nOttawa Hospital as its Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer.\nPreviously, he has held several leadership roles within the hospital, including\noverseeing the planning and building of the Critical Care Wing at the General\nCampus. He will now oversee the building of a new 21st<\/sup>-century\nhospital to replace the Civic Campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHe is passionate about the success of The\nOttawa Hospital and is committed to enhancing the hospital\u2019s mandate through\nexcellence in patient care, research and education,\u201d said Cotton. \u201cHe will be a\npositive force in continuing to inspire and motivate both the leadership team\nand staff of the hospital to succeed.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n He begins his new role on June 29, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
