Thanks to generous support from the Ottawa community, the hospital opened three incredible new health centres in 2018.\u202fThese centres make it possible to offer patients in Ottawa and beyond the very latest treatment options in brand new facilities with state-of-the-art technology.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Rose<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The new Rose Ages Breast Health Centre <\/a>houses an impressive suite of technologies that are among the most advanced in Canada, enabling more accurate and less invasive diagnoses and treatments. The new centre offers an inviting space to enhance wellness, with naturally lit areas, warm wood panelling and private gowned waiting rooms. This new, larger centre at the General Campus is ready to provide the best treatment and care to the thousands of patients in our region who need it most. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"NeuroMuscular<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The hospital\u2019s new Neuromuscular Centre<\/a> is one of the largest of its kind in Canada. In 2016, Dr. Jodi Warman\u202fChardon and Dr. Robin Parks dreamt of building a centre where neuromuscular experts\u2015clinicians and basic scientists\u2015could collaborate to develop\u202ftreatments\u202ffor neuromuscular diseases. Patients with these conditions often had to travel to Montreal to participate in clinical trials, but this centre will allow them to access trials here in Ottawa.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This centre is a game-changer for scientists, doctors and patients alike.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Charlie and Claudette Logue Dermatology Centre provides thousands of patients access to state-of-the-art dermatology treatments and services.  In 2013, local businessman Charlie Logue saw the need for a dermatology centre of excellence that would provide faster assessments, shorter wait times, and increased access to dermatology services. Charlie so inspired the Ottawa business community that after he passed away in August 2013, his friends and colleagues, along with his own children, fundraised $3.7 million for the cause. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
