{"id":3031,"date":"2015-03-04T14:23:35","date_gmt":"2015-03-04T19:23:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/52.229.122.34\/en\/?p=3031"},"modified":"2017-04-03T11:27:42","modified_gmt":"2017-04-03T15:27:42","slug":"the-ottawa-hospital-is-prepared-for-ebola-thanks-to-our-750-member-response-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ottawahospital.on.ca\/en\/newsroom\/the-ottawa-hospital-is-prepared-for-ebola-thanks-to-our-750-member-response-team\/","title":{"rendered":"The Ottawa Hospital is prepared for Ebola, thanks to our 750-member response team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>March 4, 2015 \u2013 <\/strong> The Ottawa Hospital\u2019s Board of Governors today recognized the 750 staff and physicians who have trained diligently over the past six months to respond to potential cases of Ebola virus disease.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis hospital has one of the largest cohorts of trained Ebola responders in Ontario,\u201d said James McCracken, Chair of the Board. \u201cThe dedication of this response team shows that this hospital is there for our community when it matters most.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All members of the response team have trained regularly on how to safely put on and take off their protective gear.
