If you are interested in education for your organization, <a href=\"\/en\/clinical-services\/deptpgrmcs\/programs\/champlain-district-regional-first-episode-psychosis-program\/contact-us\/\">contact us.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Research<\/h2>\n<p>The On Track program is actively involved in research in an effort to better understand the illness and improve treatment. All research is voluntary and approved through The Ottawa Hospital Research Ethics Board.<\/p>\n<p>Recent areas of research include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Genetics study (D2 receptor in psychosis)<\/li>\n<li>Pharmacological augmentation study (glutamate theory of psychosis)<\/li>\n<li>Cognition in schizophrenia (cognitive status, evaluation of assessment instruments, cognitive rehabilitation)<\/li>\n<li>General practitioner knowledge and preferences in treating psychosis<\/li>\n<li>Pathways to care<\/li>\n<li>Use of disability services<\/li>\n<li>Qualitative assessment of family relationships and youth experiences in context of first episode psychosis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Education We provide education about psychosis to families in our program.
