{"id":78210,"date":"2023-07-25T10:48:41","date_gmt":"2023-07-25T14:48:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ottawahospital.on.ca\/?page_id=78210"},"modified":"2023-07-25T10:49:49","modified_gmt":"2023-07-25T14:49:49","slug":"hepatitis-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ottawahospital.on.ca\/en\/clinical-services\/deptpgrmcs\/programs\/hepatitis-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Hepatitis Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Ottawa Hospital and Regional Hepatitis Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Welcome to The Ottawa Hospital and Regional Hepatitis Program.&nbsp; We are dedicated to treating patients who are at high risk of, or have been diagnosed with, viral hepatitis B and hepatitis C, using a mix of in-hospital, community and virtual clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who we are<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohri.ca\/profile\/CurtisCooper\">Dr. Curtis Cooper<\/a> leads a dedicated team of nurses, social workers, psychologists and specialists in hepatology, infectious diseases and internal medicine who work together to create a treatment plan just for you.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How we help<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the hands-on support at the hospital, we partner with community health centres, public health units and local health-care providers to ensure each patient in our program receives world-class care that is easy to access and judgement-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Virtual clinics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Patients who live outside Ottawa and Nunavut, or who don\u2019t have local access to viral hepatitis care, can access our program through virtual clinics hosted by the Ontario Telemedicine Network.
