She is responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive and integrated communication strategies that support The Ottawa Hospital\u2019s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Melanie leads a dynamic team who support corporate priorities, through internal and external communications, brand strategy, media relations, community engagement, and translation services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She brings extensive knowledge of communications strategy and marketing having held leadership positions at two of Canada\u2019s largest universities, in the federal government, the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, and in the private sector.
