Opportunities to learn more about research and share experiences are available to frontline nurses who are interested in learning more about conducting research including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Close collaboration with local universities and colleges<\/li>\n<li>Funding support<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At all levels of management, there is a strong commitment to enhancing our nursing research culture. New approaches to funding nursing research and supporting novice nurse researchers are currently under way. Our main goal is to support front-line nurses to develop and conduct research projects that answer clinical practice and nursing care delivery questions.<\/p>\n<h2>Research Funding and Grant Opportunities<\/h2>\n<p>At The Ottawa Hospital there are funding resources available to support nursing research. Applications for funding are available from Nursing Professional Practice.
