The Ottawa Hospital recognizes the importance of spiritual care in the healing process. As spiritual care\u00a0professionals, we provide spiritual support and sanctuary through engaging persons in healing dialogue, therapeutic ritual and heartfelt presence, while respecting individual beliefs and values.<\/p>\n

\nWe are committed to providing excellent spiritual and religious care that supports an ethical culture within the hospital consistent with nationally recognized standards of our profession.<\/p>\n

\nWe understand that the spiritual and religious needs of patients are best addressed when we work collaboratively with the patient, the family, the health-care team and the faith communities.<\/p>\n
