We recommend that you discuss your questions or concerns first with a member of your health-care team, your nurse, your treating physician or the Clinical Manager. If after speaking to the staff involved in your care and to the Manager you feel your questions or concerns require further attention, please contact the Patient Relations Department.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"collapsed\" href=\"#collapse4\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Q: How does your department ensure that my message of thanks gets to the right staff members?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapse4\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\" style=\"height: auto;\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>A: One of the greatest rewards that doctors, health-care providers and staff can receive is praise and appreciation from their patients and\/or family members.\u00a0 Knowing that their efforts are recognized and appreciated is rewarding and professionally satisfying.\u00a0 Your message is relayed to the manager of the program as well as any individuals you have specifically named in your message.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"collapsed\" href=\"#collapse5\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Q: Will my loved one\u2019s care be affected if I raise a concern?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapse5\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\" style=\"height: auto;\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>A: Raising a concern will not affect the care provided. We want to provide the safest, highest quality of care and service. Your feedback helps us with continuous quality improvement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"collapsed\" href=\"#collapse6\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Q: If I have a concern about my care or the care of a family member during the evening or night time what should I do?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapse6\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\" style=\"height: auto;\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>A: Please discuss your concern with a member of your health-care team, your nurse, or Physician. \u00a0If you feel your concern requires further attention, we would appreciate if you please leave a voice message or send an email to the Department of Patient Relations and we will contact you on the next business day.\u00a0 Alternatively, you may wish to consider asking to speak with the Clinical Administrator on Site as they provide Clinical Administrative coverage during the evening and night time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"collapsed\" href=\"#collapse9\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Q: If a concern arises during the evening, night or weekend hours and I want to speak with someone in management who should I contact?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapse9\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\" style=\"height: auto;\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>A: Please call the main number of the hospital and ask to speak with the \u201cClinical Administrator on Site\u201d. Alternatively, you may leave a voice message with the Department of Patient Relations and a representative from our department will contact you shortly. We aim to respond within 1-3 business days; however, we are experiencing an above average call volume and our current response time is 5-7 business days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a class=\"collapsed\" href=\"#collapse10\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion\">Q: How do I get information in another format?<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"collapse10\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\" style=\"height: auto;\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>A: If you have a disability and would like information in a different format, please ask us.
