Psychosocial-oncology Program Physiotherapy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Psychosocial Oncology Program<\/a> was established to provide support and rehabilitation most beneficial to those coping with cancer and the many challenges associated with their diagnosis. It is a whole person approach to care and provides emotional, psychological, social, practical and rehabilitation support. Anyone with a diagnosis of cancer can benefit from the services provided by this program; they are an integral part of cancer care. Services are provided at both The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre – General Campus and the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre, located at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital.\u00a0 A physiotherapist is part of the Psychosocial-Oncology Program Team at both sites.\u00a0 Currently, Physiotherapy is offered 4 days a week at the General Campus and 1 day a week at the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A physician referral form<\/a> is required and may be faxed or mailed to either:   <\/p>\n\n\n\n
