All of the programs are headquartered in the Minto Prevention and Rehabilitation Centre on the 2nd floor of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outpatient Physiotherapy\nservices include activity assessment, provision of an individualized exercise\nprescription and exercise guidelines, leadership in exercise classes and\neducation for long-term lifestyle behaviour change.&nbsp; The Cardiac Rehabilitation&nbsp;program\nassists participants in acquiring the skills needed to achieve and maintain a\nheart-healthy lifestyle and getting back to everyday life after a cardiac\nevent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is for those individuals who have diagnosed heart disease or have had a cardiac event and are able to participate in managing their chronic condition. There is no cost to patients with heart disease participating in Cardiac Rehabilitation programs.
