The Hospital reserves the right to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Posting Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Temporary position until approximately May 3, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Position Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Project Manager leads the planning and delivery of strategic projects\/initiatives related to TOH&#8217;s New Campus Development (NCD), coordinates the delivery of assigned projects tasks, and ensures delivery within scope, budget, and requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for the Project Manager:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manages the planning and delivery related to new campus programs as part of the NCD development\u00a0that are of strategic importance to the Hospital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manages several projects and initiatives within the assigned portfolio, supporting a culture of innovation and data-informed decision-making at the Hospital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The projects\u00a0involve a heavy amount of engagement and collaboration with project teams, management team, senior leaders, physicians across The Ottawa Hospital, Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, University of Ottawa Heart Institute\u00a0and external stakeholders.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acts as the resource person for various Committees associated with the project\u00a0and is responsible for stakeholder engagement, workplan development, ensuring that milestones are met and that the project\u00a0are achieving their objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develops project strategies, frameworks and recommendations based on a strong understanding of evaluation principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you will bring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4-year Undergraduate Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in a related discipline or in a health-related field or an equivalent mix of education and work experience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A minimum of five (5) years recent experience in project management, implementing quality improvement strategies and change management;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A minimum of one (1) year of experience guiding project teams;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expertise and strong knowledge base of hospital support services such as Clinical Support Services including Environmental Services, Health Records\/Patient Registration, Laboratory Services, Materials Management and Automated Guided Vehicle Systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expertise and knowledge of professional practice and\/or education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong experience of managing strategic projects, championing change and adaptability to changing environment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of program planning principles, design development process and operational readiness principles;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to build strong relationships with project teams, business stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership team;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with preparing and delivering presentations, with report writing, writing briefing notes for Senior Management and with implementing and evaluating business plans;\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced proficiency with computer applications: Microsoft Office applications in particular &#8211; MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applications;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and to manage client relationships and expectations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to implement, facilitate, lead change, and to propose process improvements and value-added initiatives;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, combined with excellent organizational skills to include the\u00a0ability to chair and facilitate meetings with stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You will stand out with<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Master&#8217;s degree in health or business administration or other related discipline.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with new hospital development processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you can expect from us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ottawa Hospital is committed to providing a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment for everyone.
