Program\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RkmUo1wioKc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Who?<\/h2>\n<p>The Ottawa Hospital P.A.R.T.Y. program invites youths from community programs and high schools residing in the Eastern Ontario region to attend a day of injury prevention.<\/p>\n<p>Educators who are interested in bringing a group of students to this interactive day of reality-based education can <a href=\"mailto:P.A.R.T.Y@toh.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">email<\/a> us to receive the Teacher\u2019s Guide<\/p>\n<h2>What?<\/h2>\n<p>P.A.R.T.Y. is the acronym for Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth. \u00a0It is a program that designed to give the students between 15 and 18 a snapshot of the possible traumatic and often preventable consequences of risk-related behaviour that can lead to injury.\u00a0 The program is offered in French or English.<\/p>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13874 alignright img-responsive\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/PARTY_web2.jpg\" alt=\"party_web2\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\" \/>Where?<\/h2>\n<p>A full day program offered at The Ottawa Hospital Civic campus or General campus.<\/p>\n<h2>When?<\/h2>\n<p>The P.A.R.T.Y. program is offered on Thursdays and Fridays, 4-6 days per month, during the school calendar year.\u00a0 The sessions run from 9am to 2:30pm.<\/p>\n<h2>Why?<\/h2>\n<p>The leading cause of injury and death of teenagers 15-20 is motor vehicle crashes with greater then 50% of them involving alcohol. We lose 800 teens a year to injury!<\/p>\n<h2>How?<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/clinical-services\/deptpgrmcs\/programs\/p-a-r-t-y-prevent-alcohol-and-risk-related-trauma-in-youth\/p-a-r-t-y-for-teachers\/registration-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Registration<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is no fee to attend the P.A.R.T.Y. Program; however, a $100 cheque deposit is required in order to complete the registration.<\/p>\n<p>We book the sessions in April for the next school year.\u00a0 The booking is on a first come, first served basis.\u00a0 The program is very popular and we always have a waiting list so it is important to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. <a href=\"\/en\/clinical-services\/deptpgrmcs\/programs\/p-a-r-t-y-prevent-alcohol-and-risk-related-trauma-in-youth\/p-a-r-t-y-for-teachers\/cancellation-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cancellation and Refund Policy<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who?
