Patients also learn strategies to compensate for their difficulties, with the overall goal of helping patients return to the community with the support needed.<\/p>\n<h2>Our Services<\/h2>\n<p>The ABI Inpatient Service provides client-focused assessment and treatment that involves patients, families and caregivers as rehabilitation partners.\u00a0We strive to make patients as independent as possible, based on their own goals and those of their families.<\/p>\n<h2>Our Team<\/h2>\n<p>The expertise of our dedicated interdisciplinary team includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinical nutrition<\/li>\n<li>Clinical pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Nursing<\/li>\n<li>Occupational therapy<\/li>\n<li>Physiotherapy<\/li>\n<li>Physiatry<\/li>\n<li>Psychology<\/li>\n<li>Social work<\/li>\n<li>Speech-language pathology<\/li>\n<li>Therapeutic recreation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The team encourages family members and significant others to be involved in patient rehabilitation as a means of success.
