Mission<\/h2>\n

Our Mission is to prepare future nephrologists to care for the renal patient with expertise and compassion. We provide trainees with the skills necessary to maintain clinical competence and to pursue scholarship throughout their career.<\/p>\n

About the Program<\/h2>\n

The University of Ottawa Nephrology Training Program is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.<\/a> Our core program consists of a two-year curriculum designed to prepare trainees for a career in academic or community nephrology. We also offer a Clinical Nephrology Fellowship Program for qualified nephrologists to gain additional expertise. Our clinical fellowships have been recognized by the American Society of Nephrology\/American Society of Transplantation and the American Society of Hypertension.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
