The Division is a fully integrated clinical, research and teaching program which provides surgical management of diseases of the genitourinary (GU) tract (kidneys, bladder, prostate, testicles, penis &amp; and urethra) in the male and urinary tract (kidneys, bladder &amp; urethra) in the female. The 13 urological surgeons in the Division treat approximately 40,000 patients annually with high-level care in all sub-specialty areas of urology.<\/p>\n<p>The Division has a 5-year postgraduate urology specialty training program fully accredited by The Royal College of Physicians &amp; Surgeons of Canada, and the Division\u2019s program currently has the highest level of accreditation available. The Division is very active in undergraduate medical education and teaches medical students from the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Ottawa as well as elective students (those who request additional exposure to the specialty) from other Universities across Canada.<\/p>\n<h2>Our Services<\/h2>\n<p>The Division treats patients with urological problems in the following domains of urological services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Treatment of all patients referred with acute urological problems from TOH Emergency Department<\/li>\n<li>Urological oncology (cancer)<\/li>\n<li>Neuro-urology &amp; Urodynamics<\/li>\n<li>Kidney stone disease (surgical &amp; medical management)<\/li>\n<li>Minimally-invasive surgery &amp; Endourology<\/li>\n<li>Shock Wave Lithotripsy (\u201cblasting\u201d of kidney stones)<\/li>\n<li>Kidney Transplantation<\/li>\n<li>GU Reconstructive surgery &amp; complex urinary incontinence<\/li>\n<li>GU trauma<\/li>\n<li>Bladder outlet obstruction<\/li>\n<li>Male Infertility &amp; reproductive medicine<\/li>\n<li>Male Sexual Health (erectile dysfunction &amp; Peyronie\u2019s disease)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Our Team<\/h2>\n<p>The following is a list of the members in the Division of Urology and their contact telephone numbers, as well as a brief description of their area of expertise or major interest:<\/p>\n<p>Dr. J.
