There are over 15,000 people that work at The Ottawa Hospital who use their talent and skills to deliver the highest quality of care possible.
Ellen Odai, a Quality Improvement Coordinator at The Ottawa Hospital, recently learned that she is the University of Ottawa’s 2012 recipient of the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Award which she will be receiving in June at the Canadian College of Health Leaders’ National Health Leadership Conference in Halifax. The Robert Wood Johnson Award was founded by Johnson & Johnson in 1956. Only six Canadian University students who are enrolled in the health services administration program are chosen for this award each year.
Ellen received a BSc in Psychology in 1999, and completed her BSc in Occupational Therapy in 2002. An interest in international health and a desire to work towards improving health care in her community motivated Ellen to continue her education through the Master of Health Administration program at the University of Ottawa.
