Two hands are holding together

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Champlain Regional MAiD Network will be prioritizing the most urgent cases. We will continue to work with each patient and our regional partners to assess individual situations and determine the best plans of care. The program will continue to provide education, intake of referrals and assessments. The Ottawa Hospital will continue to support the provision of MAiD to urgent cases that are admitted to hospital.

Our vision

The Champlain Regional Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) Network (CRMN) provides information and system navigation to individuals, families and health-care providers who wish to learn more about MAiD. CRMN represents a network of organizations across the Champlain region who are involved in MAiD. Through the provision of standardized educational resources, clinical care and program surveillance, the goal of the CRMN is to create a more seamless experience for patients, families and health-care providers through an integrated service model with centralized accountability. Our vision is to serve as a centralized support across health sectors, while developing the capacity of organizations and providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
