Women's Health Centre Researchers

The Women's Health Centre is a centre of excellence for clinical trials with national and international collaboration. Research studies have been approved by The Ottawa Hospital Research Ethics Board.

The Centre conducts research in areas of women's health including osteoporosis, menopause issues, hot flushes, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, fibroids, contraception and female sexuality (sexual dysfunction) in collaboration with The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and the University of Ottawa.

We are looking for adult women to participate in research about women’s mental health, physical health, and well-being. Details

A Clinical Research Study of Post Menopausal Women with Low Libido
A non-hormonal oral product has been under study for generalized acquired loss of libido for many years and in pre-menopausal women. The sponsor is now looking at the benefits of this pharmaceutical agent in the post-menopausal population. Details

New Treatment for Low Sex Drive in Women
If you have had your uterus and ovaries removed at least 6 months ago but not longer than 15 years ago, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Details

Women's Health Studies
Are you a woman with breast cancer interested in participating in a study on brain and mental functions? We will be studying the effects of chemotherapy on brain and study will not require you to take any additional medications. Details

Vulvo-vaginal pain disorders and vaginismus
